Murphy's law of tickets !

I had booked flight in united airlines on 17th morning but till 16th eve I could not get my passport at home. I had to cancel the flight and postpone it which was in waiting.

I left early in the morning for New delhi and called up the consulate to know about the dispatch details of the passport. They said they were not able to trace where it was. They only told that they had dispatched it

My father went to post office in the morning and in the afternoon to check if it had come. We had planned that if it comes before 3:00 p.m. my parents would bring it to New Delhi. At 3:00 they confirmed it had not come. At 3:30 I cancelled the ticket and postponed it to 23rd in waiting.

At 4:00 I had taken return bus to my home when I got a call from home that passport had come.

Had it been possible for me to cancel it at 5:00, the passport would have come at 5:30. This is nothing but Murphy' s law of ticket cancellation.

YANA

Priya, myself and our bhabhi were sitting in Barista Coffe shop at lower parel in Mumbai when a TV actor came inside the coffe shop and gals started looking at him. I was able to make out that I have seen him on some saas bahu type thing on some zee/sony channel.

Priya told he was known by his character rather than his own name.
I wondered !

He went out paying his bill and suddenly a very good looking gal came inside on which I said" Priya ! don't tell me now that this gal is Yana Gupta ! "

Priya said" She is!!!!!!!!!!"
The next 20 mins i kept watching her till our bhabhi started pestering us to leave :(
I called up amitesh to tell this out of my excitement of catching this moment in life :)

And then he recalled to me the number of times we had seen her song and made a note of the count as well.

:) She is damn too beautiful !! A real beauty ! Lastly we insisted our bhabhi ! to take the autograph.

May god give her all that she wants in life :)

She drives the world !! Kudos to her !!

This is the story about a working girl. A fresh kid out of college, she is unaware of how systems work in an industry, unaware of the ruthless ways of the world, practically unaware of everything. She understands she has to learn a lot.
She is willing to.

She has joined an industry with a really good job. An identified one. She knows that being part of such a company, she will be appreciated by people. She packs her bag late in the night. She knows she has to go to office tomorrow. Awake early in the morning, she is set to go. The weather is stormy outside and the clouds are pouring. But that doesn't matter to her. She is not made of sugar. She believes that nothing can go wrong. She gets hold of an umbrella and steps out of her hostel. She rushes to the nearest bus stop. The bus is too crowded so she decides to hire an auto rickshaw. The office isn't very far.

She arrives at her office and steps inside. There are two three people there. She doesn't know and doesn't want to find out why they are at the office on a non working day. Yes !! It is not on a working day that she has come to her office! She was asked (forced) by her boss to complete the assignments ASAP.She can work for 12 hours a day. She is an engineer from a premierinstitute of India. It is not easy to get into such institutes. An hour of her contribution means something to the company. And ! because her boss trusts her, and she is capable, she is given more work!!

She does not disregard this. She feels she is adding value to the company; value to her. She understands this. She works the full day almost up to lunch anticipating that her boss might come to get an update. She is confident that what she has done is beyond her boss' expectation. She is really brilliant. She says kudos to herself.
But! Her boss does not come. He calls up instead, to know her progress. She updates him. He is happy with the development but scrutinizes her on what she has done. Bosses are always like that. But this young lady is not satisfied by the response from her boss. She feels she deserves more of a team effort from him.

She is dissatisfied. Recognition in work is important to her.

To ease her mind, she calls up one of her friends. Her friend too, is in the office in some other company, in an almost identical situation. Things seem better now. She says "I don't mind, what I have done is fine!"
She finishes lunch and works for another 5 hours to complete pending jobs. She returns back home and is prepared again for tomorrow. And the story continues...

Why is it that jobs are always pending? This is not what she thinks. She is not inefficient! It is not jobs that are pending, it is the jobs that are finished that lead to more of them! She is determined, she says "I will take up more responsibilities and complete them as well."

A common story haan ??!!!!

Well this is how gals in India work. Their ways have changed tremendously. They are no longer meant for the "chulha aur rasoi"; they are driving various Firms, Industries, Institutions, Banks, the entire Corporate. They are thus driving the country, the world, and yet the subtle parts of their hearts remain the same, filled with love and compassion. My tribute to all you gals out there... through this Blog!
