MUMBAI ROCKS GUYS !! NATION STANDS FOR YOU

Mumbai !!

I have seen Mumbai closely during my visits, during my few month's stay there and while travelling in the Locals

. Its one of the most complicated cities I have ever seen. The way it works is simply fantastic. A guy was searching for me one day. He went to my uncle's house. Finding that I had left from there, he came to the station to look for me. I had never seen him in the past but he could find me ! I was surprized how he could find me !! He was a Bombay-ite ! They are typical !!

The Sirit of Bombay -

I remember the delay in equipments from Bombay while they faced the great rains. I got a few ppt slides from my SPJAIN friends. I remember how Bombay recovered from that in a week's time and was absolutely normal !! No city in the world can come to normalcy that fast ! I challenge !!

Mumbai junta rocks ! - they will say - confuse nahin hone ka !! yahan se ye train lo...dadar se change karke ye wali ...pahunch jaoge !! that will always be right !!

I was lost on dadar station the first time I was there, someone guided me the way. The life on all the stations was so fast that it was impossible for me to get on to any of those unless those were empty. I have usually waited for the empty trains.

After my several visits and travelling in the trains, somehow I could remember some ways and some routes.

I remember the visit to UDCT several times which I visited me uncle. I remember those scences on Matunga, Dadar startions.

I remember spanning all those - Dadar - Matunga - Sion - Kurla - VidyaVihar - Ghatkopar - Vikroli - Kanjurmarg and so on...routes !! Local trains are awesome ! I challenge there can not be such a great local train system anywhere which transfers un-countable number of passengers every day. They are big contributors to the economy of INDIA !!!

Today, all those people have seen something which reminded of deadly act of 93 Bombay Blasts ! :(

One of my friends in US touched me when he sent the following to me.....

Through this post I want to express my sympathy for those who were affected by the tragic attacks which took place today in Mumbai. Many of us are currently in the US, many of you are in India--for those of you that are in India, and seen the pain live, I have no words to heel your wounds.

I remember the Gateway to Indai, I remember the Juhu beach and pav bhaji, I remember the IIT, I remember the UDCT , I remember the king circle, I remember the local trains !!

Mumbai Rocks guys !! KEEP SAFE !! Fight terrorism !! Nation gives you standing ovation !
